With the arrival of our new Executive Chef Guglielmo Giudice, our offering is enriched with authentic flavours and refined dishes, inspired by the local territory and creatively reimagined.
Who is the new chef?
Born in Novara in 1987, Guglielmo Giudice gained experience in prestigious restaurants both in Italy and abroad. After leading the kitchen at Rivington in Milan – inspired by New York-style dining – he now brings his culinary vision to Montegrotto Terme. There, he combines local ingredients, seasonality, and innovative techniques to create a taste experience that aligns with thermal wellness.

The Slow Awakening is a unique experience reserved for guests of the Green Lodge at Terme Preistoriche Resort & Spa. Designed to start the day in harmony with nature and without haste, this moment is made even more special by our chefs, who carefully prepare the Good Morning Basket—a selection of delights to be enjoyed in the peaceful comfort of your lodge.
Inside the basket, you’ll find artisanal jams from Azienda Agricola Scarpon in Arquà Petrarca—an homage to the authentic flavours of the Euganean Hills, handpicked to showcase the very best of our region.
Guests may enjoy this exclusive breakfast in the privacy of their lodge, wrapped in the natural light filtering through the trees, or extend the pleasure of the morning with the buffet breakfast served on the hotel veranda.

La Piazzetta: Restaurant by the Pool
Overlooking the Chalet pool, La Piazzetta is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner without leaving the thermal area. Here, guests can dine in their bathrobes and enjoy a relaxing moment poolside. The menu offers a selection of hot and cold dishes, salads, snacks, freshly pressed juices, and aperitifs – ideal for a light and revitalizing culinary experience, enjoyed outdoors on warm days.
In addition to the online and downloadable menu, each week we feature off-menu specials with unique dishes designed to offer ever-new flavour experiences. Guests may also order meals with a takeaway option, to enjoy our specialties wherever they prefer.
The Pool Bar
For a break without leaving the thermal area, the Pool Bar is open daily from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM and offers a wide selection of snacks, light bites, and fresh fruit salads – perfect for recharging between swims or simply enjoying a drink by the pool.
